If you get to play this on turn 3 or 4, your opponent is going to actually have to stop what they are doing to deal with it. There are lots of ways to cobble together 5 damage, while 6 damage is significantly more expensive. You skip your turn two and slam down a 5/6 taunt on turn 3.ĥ/6 is much, much harder to deal with than 4/5, especially in the early game. You didn't get ramp but have a couple Dreaming Drakes in hand. Then your opponent gets to take turn 4 and deal with a 5/6 taunt Dragon and a rowdy Druid at 10 mana. Breath of Dreams into Overgrowth into Corrupted Dreaming Drake + Overgrowth. It is easy to corrupt just by playing Ramp Druid normally: It's corrupt, meaning you can bring it back with Y'shaarj, and have some combo of Dreaming Drake, Strongman, Carnival Clown and Moontouched Amulet when you play it. And it comes from a very surprising source: Between Pure Paladin, Cascading Winness Warlock, and Pretty Much Any Rogue, Ramp Druid has been very sad to play. I usually try to make Ramp Druid work in every meta, and the previous meta was simply impossible.
